Driftwood features 21 quality townhouses in one of Perth’s most sought-after coastal locations, Port Coogee. The homes were built in four stages and sold out in just three years.
2019 OPL | Global Leader
Project: Evermore WGV Solar Battery Apartments
Evermore WGV is recognised by peers as a Global Leader in the prestigious international program One Planet Living. The project is providing groundbreaking research on how solar photovoltaic (PV), battery and monitoring systems can work within strata residential developments. The trial is changing the way we live for the better and encouraging the uptake of renewable energy initiatives within strata residential projects throughout Australia.
2019 UDIA Award | Environmental Excellence
Project: The Amble Estate
Developed in partnership with the Department of Communities, Amble Estate delivered a 4.2 hectare urban infill project.
The judges were particularly impressed by the project’s commitment to sustainable development and innovation in delivering a successful infill development within an established community.
2018 UDIA Award | Affordable Development
Project: Evermore WGV Solar Battery Apartments
Evermore WGV delivered 24 apartments, powered by cutting-edge solar photovoltaics and lithium battery technology and featuring a host of sustainable features.
Initial affordability and low ongoing running costs were key factors in the judges’ decision, with an impressive 80% reduction in energy consumption thanks to the cross ventilated design and solar technology.
2017 UDIA Award | Rising Star Award
Project: Established (Est.) Apartments
Established transformed under-utilised land in a prime location into 19 unique one and two bedroom apartments and a commercial space with four micro-offices on the ground-floor.
Judges noted Yolk’s innovative and collaborative approach in delivering affordability and diversity to Fremantle’s expensive West End. Despite a compact footprint, Established cleverly used space to deliver energy efficient, functional apartments in a style that blended in with the historical surroundings.
