If you’re a key worker, Mum & Dad Co. provides $40,000 to help you meet the 10% deposit required by big banks and removing the need for Loan Mortgage Insurance (LMI). There are no hidden catches, no interest, and no set repayment deadline, just like the help you’d receive from your own family.

This pilot project, a collaboration between Mum & Dad Co.,  Foundational Charity, Realtime Realty, and Yolk Property Group, aims to give back to the key workers who serve our communities by making homeownership more accessible.

HOW IT WORKS

  • We provide up to $40,000 towards your deposit to help you meet the 10% bank requirement.
  • There’s no interest, no deadline for repayment, and no personal guarantee required.
  • You retain 100% ownership of the property, and all capital gains are yours.
  • You are responsible for the upkeep of the property and mortgage payments.
  • We lodge a caveat on the property title to ensure the funds are repaid only when you eventually sell the property (and only if there is profit after the mortgage is cleared).
  • You’ll choose from a selection of pre-negotiated house and land packages, with bank valuations to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
  • The first Pilot Project House & Land Packages are available at Watermark Estate in Champion Lakes with homes built by Summit Homes.
